Who We Are-

Patti Johnson is the principal and owner of Patti Johnson Interiors, an multi award winning full-service interior design firm that has been serving Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky for over 25 years. Whether working with your builder on a new construction to specify finishes, assist with blue prints, space planning and furniture planning OR considering a full renovation on your existing home or a home you’re thinking of purchasing, all are within the scope of projects at Patti Johnson Interiors. Services for “Turn-key” and vacation home projects also available.

She is expert in a Home Edit.

Named in the TOP 200 MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THE HOME DESIGN INDUSTRY FOR 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 and a past Official High Point Market Style Spotter, a three time member of an international Blog Tour delegation, Patti is a multiple award winning luxury interior designer. Attending national and international trade shows to keep up on Trends, Patti is widely considered an Industry Influencer.  A 15 year member of the acclaimed national organization, The Interior Design Society,  Patti served as President of the Interior Design Society of Ohio in 2008-2010.  She is also a member of The National Kitchen and Bath Association.

Patti designs with her clients in mind to feel not only comfortable in their new surroundings but delivering an improved lifestyle is her main goal. Winner of many HOUZZ service awards, Patti attends to all details ranging from the design to the servicing of her projects and is available for project management and turn key options available.

  • “ I was looking for an interior designer who could update several rooms in our farm house. I wanted an updated and classy look while still incorporating many of my antique pieces! Patti definitely exceeded my expectations! She does a wonderful job listening to her clients wants and needs. She is also very flexible working within any budget or timeframe. Her taste in colors and textures are impeccable. The colors chosen for my house were warm and inviting. She even chose ceiling colors which were different and unique while giving an updated look. I have the most beautiful personal space with a turquoise ceiling. I just love it! She incorporated a new island made from recycled barn wood and a custom pendant canopy light which makes a beautiful statement when entering my kitchen. She worked around my existing kitchen cabinets and selected a complimentary granite counter, marble backsplash and copper farm sink. The blend of colors and textures are perfect. We added a sunroom with a unique "wood" ceiling and partial stone wall. The lighting throughout the house was also carefully and uniquely chosen. The quality of furniture is top of the line. My custom drapes, bedding and pillows finished the look. My husband and I couldn't be happier and we will definitely be using her expertise for future projects. I highly recommend Patti Johnson Interiors!

  • “ This project included a remodel of the kitchen, den, powder room and cosmetic upgrades to the rest of the first floor. The project took approximately 5 months to complete and was quite changeling for the build team. Patti coordinated well with the contractors and took care of most all material and design aspects of the job. The final result looks amazing and receives many complements. The contractor was recommended by Patti and did a great job as well. Not everything was perfect from the start but was made perfect at the end. Patti is very professional and has excellent ideas to make the project look not only stunning but also unique.

She selected colors that I may have not thought about but that ended up looking great and very unique. She coordinated everything to look very stylish and high end.
